What The Client Wanted
Although our projects are predominantly for residential clients; we often work alongside businesses to transform their corporate premises. In this instance, we were contacted by a commercial packaging company who were interested in our expertise in glazing. They were hoping to replace the mirrored glass solar filmed windows across their building as the current installation had failed.
With this in mind, we recommended that the best route would be to completely reinstall the glazing. However, this time opt for grey glazing, which would not only offer anti-sun properties but would also be thermally efficient. This would allow the client to take advantage of the aesthetic benefits of a fully glazed building, while also ensuring that the premises could remain a steady, comfortable temperature all year round.
To complete the project, we used both scaffolding and a cherry picker, which allowed our team to maintain a high-quality installation, even across the harder to reach areas. As always, the installation was finished within the given timeframe, and we were pleased to find that the customer was extremely happy with the results.
